VISTA is a disposable, electricity-free microfluidic cartridge built for point-of-care diagnostics in low-resource or non-lab environments. Using pressure-driven microfluidics, it manipulates antibody-conjugated magnetic beads and platinum nanoparticles to automate the bubbling-based assay process.

The device interfaces with an AI-enabled smartphone app using an adversarial neural network to interpret assay results from simple phone images, removing the need for technical training or infrastructure.
